Winners of Best Poster Awards at the World Hospital Congress 2023 announced

Over 400 poster presentations were selected for the 46th World Hospital Congress. The top-scoring posters for each thematic track, as judged by members of the Congress Scientific Committee, were revealed at the Welcome Reception on Tuesday 24 October 2023.

Track 1: Leaders successfully navigating the future

Track 3: Innovative approaches to providing healthcare

“Refer and Follow: A Portuguese integration care project”

Filipa Sabino INEM, I.P., Portugal

Track 4: The ever-expanding digital landscape

“RAFAEL: an applied experience of medical chatbots in patients care at the Geneva University Hospitals”

Mayssam Nehme, Geneva University Hospitals, Switzerland

Track 5: Next-generation, climate-resilient, and sustainable healthcare

“Hospital Universitari Mollet, a Green Hospital on the path to Net Zero Emissions”

Congress delegates could also vote for their favourite poster in each thematic track in the Congress App. The People’s Choice winners for best posters were announced at the Closing Ceremony on Friday 27 October.

Presenter: Mary Houston, Bon Secours Hospital, Dublin, Ireland

Track 5: Next-generation, climate-resilient, and sustainable healthcare

“Economic and environmental impact of implementing teleconsultation in anaesthesiology”

Presenter: Nuno Coimbra Alcada, Centro Hospitalar de Entre Douro e Vouga, Portugal

All poster winners receive a complimentary registration pass for the 47th World Hospital Congress, taking place in Rio de Janeiro from 10 to 12 September 2024.
