Dr Aldemerdash is currently the Chairman of the Pharmacy Scientific Council and advisor for the General Secretariat at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS). He serves on multiple strategic and executive committees in the SCFHS and other national entities; and worked as a consultant for hospital practice advancement and postgraduate medical education in the United Arab Emirates. Dr Aldemerdash is also an assistant professor of clinical pharmacy in the college of pharmacy, King Saud University (KSU) and cardiovascular pharmacotherapy pharmacy specialist in King Saud University Medical City (KSUMC). He serves as the chairman of the Pharmacy Programs Unit, chairman of Pharmacy Fellowship Board, and director of the Cardiology Residency Program (PGY2) at KSUMC. Dr. Aldemerdash received a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences from KSU and PharmD degree from MCPHS University, USA. He completed his PGY1 and PGY2-Cardiovascular pharmacotherapy residencies at Harvard-affiliated Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. In addition, he completed cardiovascular pharmacotherapy fellowship in the University of North Carolina. Dr. Aldemerdash’s professional work includes innovation, leadership & administration, health education, and healthcare advancement.
