Katherine Bennett

Senior Communications Manager

Katherine is responsible for the IHF and Geneva Sustainability Centre’s strategic communications and engagement activities across all programmes and channels. She has broad experience in the private and non-governmental sectors in communications, publishing and project management.

Katherine began her career in the education sector where she commissioned, developed and published multimedia resources for Scottish schools and colleges. She then moved to public health, spending five years with a special health board in NHS Scotland delivering high profile campaigns for a broad range of public health topics in liaison with government and third sector partners.

From 2015 to 2021, Katherine worked as an Editorial Programme Manager for ISO (International Organization for Standardization) with responsibility for the development and quality of publications from technical committees on a variety of subjects. This role also involved representing ISO at international meetings, designing and delivering training courses and creating resources for quality management.

Katherine holds a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature (University of Manchester) and a master’s degree in publishing studies (University of Stirling).
