15th Brazilian Hospital Convention
On 24 and 25 July 2025, the city of Florianópolis will host the 15th Brazilian Hospital Convention, a pioneering event that marks the meeting of the main actors who are building a new tomorrow for health in Brazil

The state of Santa Catarina will host the event to promote content and connections in the country’s hospital sector. The 15th Brazilian Hospital Convention (15ª Convenção Brasileira de Hospitais – CBH), held by the Brazilian Hospital Federation (FBH) in partnership with its associates, promises to bring together, in the city of Florianópolis, the main names in the sector, including managers, political and institutional leaders, as well as of leading companies in technology and innovation in health services, to discuss topics such as qualification, cost management, sustainability, and public health policies, among others. Around 2,000 delegates are expected during the two days of the event.
In this year’s edition, the Brazilian Hospital Convention proposes as the central theme of the debates “The journey towards the qualification of the Brazilian hospital network.” Lectures and discussions will focus on the importance of continuing education and service accreditation for the evolution of medium—and high-complexity care in the country.
“We want to bring to the southern region what is most current in debates about improving the health sector, providing a favourable environment for exchanging knowledge, and experiences, and promoting business. We hope that this convention can open the doors of the region to important businesses that are already a reference in establishments in the southeast region of the country, for example”, highlights the president of FBH, Adelvânio Francisco Morato.
The event agenda includes courses, lectures, and debate tables, as well as a strategic space for the exhibition of brands, equipment, and hospital services. According to the president of AHESC, Maurício Souto Maior, the expectation is that the 15th CBH will foster new relationships, alliances, and opportunities between different players in the sector, to generate improvements so that hospitals continue to evolve and offer the best for their customers, employees and patients.
“In addition to qualification, another important topic that we intend to advance in the 15th CBH concerns the issue of economic and financial sustainability of health institutions in the country. In our state, of the 235 hospitals in the private network, 146 are philanthropic, with a large volume of care provided by the SUS. Therefore, we need to discuss the strategic importance of these establishments for the sustainability of the national health system”, adds Maurício Souto Maior.
The president of FHESC, Sister Neusa Lúcio Luiz, also highlights the legacies that the event will bring for establishments in Santa Catarina.
“It is with great satisfaction that FHESC joins forces with FBH and AHESC to bring this event of such importance to our state. We are united by a common purpose: to expand and strengthen the qualifications of our hospital network, seeking solutions that make a difference in the daily lives of healthcare institutions across the country. We believe that this event will be a milestone for the sector, as it provides enriching debates and new partnerships for the advancement of healthcare.
