King Faisal Hospital, Rwanda (KFHR) is a 160‑bed quaternary referral and teaching hospital in Kigali, providing specialized care for East and Central Africa. Built between 1987 and 1991 with support from the Saudi Fund for Development, it plays a key role in Rwanda’s Health Sector Strategic Plan IV.
For 22 years, KFHR has focused on clinical excellence, assembling highly skilled specialists across fields such as neurosurgery, cardiology, nephrology, pediatrics, radiology, and pathology. The hospital aims to strengthen technology, research, communication, and staff engagement to enhance patient-centered care and improve service quality.
