Introduction

Despite the continuous rise in global healthcare spending, the demand on systems is outstripping investments. Modernizing healthcare through the deployment and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly seen as the solution for the future and one of the keys to creating a sustainable and economically realistic solution. As healthcare systems evolve, leaders must develop the skills, tools, and strategic insight necessary to guide this transformation. This collaborative report by the International Hospital Federation’s Young Executive Leaders (YEL) 2025 explores AI integration across five countries Canada, India, Kazakhstan, Spain and the UAE. The project reflects how YEL collaboration fosters global learning and leadership for AI-enabled transformation.
