Sustainable hospitals and healthcare delivery settings can use their surrounding environments to strive for better health outcomes.

Green spaces (in both urban and rural areas), are associated with numerous health benefits, including improved physical, mental and social wellbeing, and post-operative recovery. They also have a positive impact on staff wellbeing. This makes them an ideal inclusion to healthcare spaces.
