IHF at WHO workshop: Fit-for-purpose hospitals

From 31 October to 2 November, the IHF and Geneva Sustainability Centre were among the partners and stakeholders who were invited to the WHO headquarters, Geneva, to participate in an important workshop. 

As key actors in the global healthcare sector, those gathered share a common goal to make hospitals fit-for-purpose and future-ready for people, health systems, and sustainable development.

The purpose of this workshop was to inform future work on hospitals, to make them fit-for-purpose in their context. Ron Lavater, IHF CEO, was invited to present the new IHF Global Leadership Competency Model. Sylvia Basterrechea, Programme Lead, presented the Geneva Sustainability Centre’s work in an ATACH-hosted session.
