Abeer Al Hinai is a Palliative Care Nurse Specialist at Royal Hospital, Oman, and an emerging healthcare leader dedicated to advancing patient-centred palliative care. She holds a Master’s degree in Management from Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK), a Fellowship and Diploma in Palliative Care, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Cardiff University (UK).
With a strong background in oncology and palliative care, she focuses on quality improvement, service development, and workforce capacity building. Abeer also leads educational initiatives and mentors healthcare professionals to strengthen multidisciplinary palliative care practice. She has contributed to implementing Lean management and innovation practices that enhance patient experience, improve care delivery, and support compassionate care across hospital and community settings.
