Al-Nazaer A. Usop

Al-nazaer A. Usop is a highly accomplished nursing professional with a decade of experience spanning clinical practice, hospital administration, and nursing education. He currently serves as a Nurse Manager at the Cotabato Regional and Medical Center, a Level III tertiary teaching hospital in the Philippines, where he specializes in infection control and healthcare quality. Since March 2025, he has also held the leadership role of CQI Vice-Chairperson for Nursing and Allied Services.

A dedicated researcher, Al-nazaer has focused on Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), specifically regarding hand hygiene and Mpox response. His work has been accepted for presentation at various international forums in 2025 and 2026, including conferences in Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Spain and Manila.

Beyond his clinical duties, Al-nazaer is a National Officer for the Association of Nursing Service Administrators of the Philippines (ANSAP) for the 2025–2028 term. He is also a Senior Member of the Royal Institution of Nurses International in Singapore and serves as an Ambassador for the Society of Internationally Educated Nurses in North America.
