Alyeah E. Ramjit, MS, MHA, currently serves as the Vice President for System Transformation and System Vice President for Cardiac Services with One Brooklyn Health (OBH). In this role Ms. Ramjit is responsible for operationalizing the core initiaitves associated with creating operational and fiscal improvements across the enterprise while implementing key process improvement initatives for health system longevity. OBH serves a population of roughly 1 million patients in Brooklyn, NY, and constitutes an acute care, post acute care and ambulatory footprint. Ms. Ramjit previously held roles as the System Vice President for Surgical Services, Orthopedics and the Department of Medicine at OBH where she served as the operational and administrative lead with specific oversight on fiscal, human resource, growth and strategic operations.
In addition to the above, Ms. Ramjit’s prior experience as Chief of Staff at the Mount Sinai Health System included leading key initiatives to transform organizational culture, including patient experience, system learning and process improvement as well as overseeing initiatives within system and hospital operations, hospital joint venture strategies and business development. Ms. Ramjit has further experience in population health management, creating integrated networks, Medicare Part D operations, long-term care operations and emergency medical services.
In addition to her vast experience in healthcare, Ms. Ramjit serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor with the Master of Health Administration Program in Public Health at Stony Brook University. Ms. Ramjit also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the School of Health Sciences, the Women in Leadership Board, Secretary of the Alumni Organization and as an Executive-in-Residence for the Master of Health Administration Program at Hofstra University.
Her additional volunteer activities include having served as Past President with Healthcare Leaders of New York, member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). She is a recipient of the ACHE 2018 Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award and the 2020 ACHE Recognition Award for Chapter Service. Ms. Ramjit was named by Crain’s New York on their Most Notable in Healthcare 2021 list, been featured as a guest on Becker’s Healthcare Podcast and is an Alum of the 2022 Young Executive Leadership Program hosted by the International Hospital Federation. Furthermore, Ms. Ramjit has been honored by Schneps Media on their 2025 Power List and 2025 Healthcare Heros List.
Ms. Ramjit is a two-time graduate of New York Institute of Technology holding a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences/Biology and a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition. She also holds a Master of Health Administration with Distinction from Hofstra University as well as Certificates in Executive Healthcare Leadership and Healthcare Change Leadership from Cornell University.
