Aria Kumar is an Associate Director with Mount Sinai International (MSI), part of the Mount Sinai Health System in New York, USA, where she plays a key role in advancing the organization’s global strategy and international presence. Within Mount Sinai International, she is part of a unit that leads long-term institutional collaborations and business development initiatives across global markets, with a primary focus on Latin America, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. In her role with MSI, Aria also leads engagement with special interest organizations, such as the International Hospital Federation, on behalf of the team, fostering relationships that promote collaboration, knowledge exchange, and mission alignment.
Prior to her time with MSI, Aria completed the Mount Sinai Health System Administrative Fellowship, with a placement at the Mount Sinai West Hospital. During her fellowship, she led high-impact projects in inpatient operations and organizational strategy, gaining hands-on experience in healthcare delivery, operational performance, and system-level improvement initiatives within a large academic health system.
Aria earned her Master’s of Health Administration from the University of Georgia and Bachelor’s Degree in Cellular & Molecular Biology and Leadership from Augusta University. Throughout her studies and career, she has continued to be deeply committed to the advancement of mentorship, community advocacy, and professional development.
