Bertrand Levrat was appointed as an Executive Director and COO of Mediclinic in 2024. Prior to joining Mediclinic, he served for 11 years as CEO of the Geneva University Hospital, the largest hospital in Switzerland, and as President of the Swiss Association of University Medicine. Before that, he was CEO of the social services in Geneva and served as a delegate for the International Committee of the Red Cross in different countries. He has been a Board member of several foundations, notably in the field of medical research, and is a honorary member of the Board of the International Hospital Federation.
Mr Levrat holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Geneva and is a certified Barrister. He also holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Strategic Leadership. He has been appointed Officer of the French National Order of the Legion of Honour.
