Convinced That Addressing The Climate Crisis Is Essential For Health Promotion, Carmen Joined The Geneva Sustainability Centre In June 2022. In Her Role, She Supports The Development And Activities Of The Centre Aiming At Reducing The Healthcare Sector’s Share Of Carbon Emissions And Accelerating The Transition Of Hospitals Towards A Low-Carbon Future.

With Over Five Years Of Experience Working In The Civil Society Sector In Mexico And As A Consultant For USAID, She Developed Skills In Project Management, Policy Analysis, Monitoring And Evaluation, Advocacy And Communications, Partnership Building, And Fundraising. Prior To Joining The Centre, She Supported The Fundraising And Resource Mobilization Activities At The Climate Action Accelerator In Geneva.

Carmen Holds A Bachelor In International Relations From The Universidad Nacional Autónoma De México, And A Master’s Degree In Development Studies From The Geneva Graduate Institute, Where She Specialized In Environment, Sustainability, And Global Health. She Is Fluent In Spanish, English, French, And German.
