Dr Abel Mwale is the chief medical officer (CMO) and Head of Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive care at CFB Medical Centre in Zambia. Dr Mwale combines his clinical work and administrative work.
Dr Mwale is a fellow of the College of Anaesthesiologists of East, Central and Southern Africa (CANECSA). He has a master’s degree in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care. Other qualifications include; bachelor of science in medicine and surgery. He is currently in his final year of master’s degree in business administration (MBA).
Dr Mwale looks forward to joining the Young Executive Leaders programme to meet and network with other hospital managers across the globe.
