Dr Deyaa Mukhtar is an Adult Rheumatology Consultant and healthcare executive with leadership experience in hospital management, clinical governance, and health system transformation in Saudi Arabia.
He served as Chief Executive Officer of King Abdulaziz Hospital in Makkah (2022–early 2026), where he led organizational transformation initiatives focused on quality improvement, operational excellence, and patient-centered care.
Previously, he held the role of Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Head of Medical Departments at Heraa General Hospital (2020–2022), overseeing multidisciplinary clinical services and strengthening medical governance.
Alongside his executive leadership roles, Dr Mukhtar continues his clinical practice as Rheumatology Service Lead (2022–present), contributing to the advancement of specialized rheumatology services and improved care pathways.
