Dr Fei-Peng Lee is the President of the Taiwan Hospital Association since 2023. He is also an Emeritus Professor and Trustee of Taipei Medical University, where he has contributed extensively to medical education, academic leadership, and professional development.
Dr Lee earned his MD degree from Taipei Medical University and completed his residency training in Otorhinolaryngology at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, where he later served as a Visiting Doctor. He subsequently joined Taipei Medical University as a Professor in the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and went on to serve as President of the Taiwan Society of Otorhinolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, promoting academic exchange and professional advancement in the field.
In hospital management, Dr Lee served as Superintendent of three major affiliated hospitals of Taipei Medical University—Taipei Medical University Hospital, Wan-Fang Hospital, and Shuang-Ho Hospital—all of which achieved Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation under his leadership. These accomplishments reflect his commitment to hospital governance, accreditation, and system improvement.
Beyond academia and hospital leadership, Dr Lee has contributed significantly to Taiwan’s healthcare sector by serving as President of the Taiwan Nongovernmental Hospitals and Clinics Association and Chairman of the Taipei Institute of Pathology. His extensive leadership across clinical, academic, and organizational spheres demonstrates his dedication to advancing healthcare quality, innovation, and international cooperation.
Dr Fei-Peng Lee joined the IHF Governing Council in November 2025.
