Gilvane Lolato graduated in Business Administration from UGF-RJ, with an MBA in Health Management and Infection Control from INESP-SP. She is also Specialist in Quality and Patient Safety from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal. She holds a Master in Management and Methodologies of Quality and Safety in Health Care at Instituto Avedis Donabedian, Spain.

Gilvane has worked in the areas of ​​quality management, patient safety, and accreditation for more than fifteen years – where she participated in the implementation of the health accreditation model in the national methodology in more than 20 public and private organizations.

She is a Lecturer in Quality Management, Patient Safety and Health Accreditation; a Member of the Brazilian Society for the Quality of Care and Patient Safety (SOBRASP); and the Operational Manager of the National Accreditation Organization (ONA) where she leads the Management of Certification, Education, Assessors, Quality Management, Communication, ISQua Certifications, ONA’s scientific front and Partnerships.

She took part in the ISQua Fellowship and the Coordinator and teacher of MBA, Postgraduate and Short Courses, with topics focused on Quality Management, Patient Safety and Health Accreditation.

Gilvane was also part of the coordination of the review of the “Manual for Organizations Providing Health Services – Version 2022; and of the scientific committee for ONA events, such as “Meeting of Evaluators”, “International Seminar on Patient Safety and Health Accreditation”, among others.
