Jason Fischer, MBA, serves as the inaugural Director of the Office of Sustainability at Houston Methodist, spearheading initiatives geared towards the responsible use of resources to enhance environmental, community, and economic health. With extensive experience in environmental services management, including roles as Director of Environmental & Patient Transportation Services and Assistant Director of Environmental Services at UMC Health System, Jason has a proven track record in leading large teams and managing substantial budgets. Prior to his current role, Jason operated J. Fischer Consulting, focusing on startup operations and IT for various organizations. Jason holds an MBA from Texas Tech University and a bachelor's degree in Political Science from the same institution, complemented by earlier studies at The University of Texas at Arlington.
