Jeremy is a pioneering leader in healthcare sustainability at the National University Hospital (NUH) in Singapore. Since joining NUH in 2009, he has consistently focused on operational excellence, innovation, and sustainable practices across various leadership roles.
His notable achievements include addressing emergency department overcrowding issues, improving access to paediatric care, enhancing incident response capabilities, and implementing robotic process automation and technology to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
As Chief Operating Officer, Jeremy spearheaded over 250 green projects within NUH, demonstrating his commitment to environmental sustainability in healthcare. He was instrumental in NUH becoming the first hospital in the world to be awarded the Joint Commission International Healthcare Sustainability Certification. Currently heading the Green and Mobility Taskforce at NUHS, Jeremy continues to drive eco-friendly innovations in hospital operations. His forward-thinking strategies were particularly crucial during the COVID-19 pandemic, showcasing the importance of sustainable and adaptable healthcare systems.
