As the Nurse Lead of the Acute and Urgent Care Program at the Royal Adelaide Hospital Jessica Gannon is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership, governance and oversight of the Emergency Department, Trauma Service, Acute Assessment Units and General Medicine and Geriatrics. She works alongside the medical and allied health leads to drive practice improvements and change management within complex systems. Ms

The Royal Adelaide Hospital being the adult receiving site for COVID-19+ patients, Jessica collaborated with senior clinicians to develop a sustainable workforce model and strategy and embedded clinical practice models for management of COVID patients in the acute setting.

Jessica’s expectations of this truly unique programme is the opportunity to vastly broaden her understanding of health care delivery and modern health care leadership. She hopes to develop her skills alongside other talented health leaders from across the world.
