Mary Houston

Mary holds a 1st Class Honours degree in Experimental Physics & Mathematics, and a Post Graduate degree in Medical Physics from the University of Leeds.
For over 25 years, Mary worked as a Medical Physicist in number of posts in Ireland, the UK and France, specialising in Radiotherapy Physics. She was appointed as the Chief Physicist at the Mater Private Hospital in 1999, leading the service for over 15 years.
In 2015, Mary left her physics role and moved into a senior hospital management position and was appointed as Director of the Mater Private Cancer Centre. Since 2021, she has been the Head of Business and Service Development for the Bon Secours Hospital Dublin, leading the strategic development of the hospital.
