Matthew Oliver, a native of Metropolis, Illinois, joined the HCA Healthcare Care Transformation & Innovation Team (CT&I) in August 2022. In this role, Matthew is responsible for leading the financial and business analytics work of CT&I, ensuring that the realities of hospital administrative and financial operations are represented in the solutions and products the CT&I team designs.

Prior to joining CT&I, Matthew served as the CFO of Frankfort Regional Medical Center, a 173-bed facility located in Frankfort, Kentucky, since 2016. There, Matthew was responsible for the daily oversight of the accounting, medical records, case management, supply chain, information systems and patient account services. A sixteen-year veteran of HCA, Matthew has also held roles as the CFO of John Randolph Medical Center, the Controller at Frankfort Regional Medical Center, and as a Manager in the Internal Audit Department, where he was responsible for supervising financial and internal control audits of HCA hospitals, surgery centers and shared service centers.

Matthew earned his bachelors of arts in business with a focus in accounting from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. An actively licensed CPA and Chartered Global Management Accountant, Matthew has been recognized by the HFMA as a Certified Specialist Accounting & Finance (CSAF), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR), & Certified Specialist Business Intelligence (CSBI). Matthew is active in the community and is a past recipient of the President's Volunteer Service Award recognizing community service.
