Parnika is an award-winning, results-oriented leader with over 15 years of experience in healthcare, specializing in large-scale strategies that drive business growth and high-quality outcomes. She is an expert in systems engineering and Six Sigma methodology, known for her innovation, collaboration, change management, and people development.
Currently, as COO, she oversees a tertiary-care hospital with 250 beds, 660 physicians, 13 clinics, 80 subspecialities, 50,000 ER visits, and 3,000 employees, serving 240,000 members, which is 50% individual market share and is one of the only two hospitals that provide high-risk comprehensive cardiac care across northern California region.
Her leadership style is strategic, collaborative, and service-oriented, leading to excellent outcomes for members and communities. Passionate about health equity, women’s health, and mentoring diverse leaders, she co-chairs the Women in Leadership Committee and mentor at CAHL. Her mantra is, “Listen to understand!
