Prof. Anne Lee is currently the Clinical Professor and Head of the Department of Clinical Oncology, the University of Hong Kong, and Alice Ho Miu Ling Nethersole Charity Foundation Professor in Holistic Cancer Care. In addition, she is the Deputy Hospital Chief Executive (Clinical Service), Deputy Hospital Chief Executive (Education & Training), as well as the Chief of Service for the Center of Clinical Oncology at the University of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Hospital in China. She is Honorary Professor of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. She is also the Honorary Consultant and Deputy Chief of Service of Clinical Oncology, Departments of Clinical Oncology at Queen Mary Hospital.

In addition to her professional qualification as Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in Clinical Oncology (United Kingdom) and Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, she was conferred Doctor of Medicine by the University of Hong Kong in 2008.

Dr. Lee's main research contributions focus on nasopharyngeal cancer. She is currently the Chairman of Hong Kong Nasopharyngeal Cancer Study Group and she has been the President of Hong Kong Head and Neck Society in the past.  In addition, she is currently the Vice President of Hong Kong College of Radiologists and the Vice Chairman of Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society.

Furthermore, Dr. Lee serves in many international organizations, including being the Board of Directors and the Coordinator of the Global Advisory Group for the Union for International Cancer Control; Vice-Chairman of the National Cancer Staging Committee of China. She also serves in editorial board of many international journals (such as Radiotherapy & Oncology) and she is the Associate Editor for Oral Oncology.

Dr.  Lee has received many international honors, including Sir Patrick Manson Gold Medal by The University of Hong Kong in 2008; Gilbert H. Fletcher Distinguished Professor Lecturer by The University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, United States in 2009; Honorary Membership by the European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology in 2012; Honorary Membership by the Radiological Society of North America in 2013; Wharton Lecturer by Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Canada in 2015; and Honorary Fellowship by American College of Radiology since 2019. Nationally, she is also awarded Good Doctor in Shenzhen by Health and Family Planning commission of Shenzhen Municipality in 2018; and First Prize of Science and Technology Award by Fujian Government in 2018.
