Raquel is the Vice-President of the Portuguese Association of Hospital Managers (APAH) and serves as an Advisor to the Executive Board of Local Health Unit São José (ULS São José). Her work focuses on strategic areas such as organizational transformation, institutional culture, integrated care, change management, technological innovation, and sustainability.
With over a decade of experience, Raquel has held key leadership roles at ULS São José, including Hospital Manager for the Pharmacy Department and previously overseeing the Emergency and Intensive Care units.
She holds specialized qualifications in Hospital Administration from NOVA School of Public Health (NOVA-SPH). Additionally, she completed a Postgraduate degree in Digital Health, a joint program by NOVA-SPH and NOVA Information Management School (NOVA-IMS), where she specialized in Strategic Leadership on Innovation.
