Rosie is the Deputy Director of Operations in the Cancer and Surgery Clinical Group at Guy’s & St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust (GSTT). Having started her career as a management consultant, in 2017 she made her move into the NHS as Urology General Manager at University College Hospital London (UCLH) and since then has worked in a range of senior operational roles across 3 different large London teaching hospitals.
In her current role, Rosie provides strategic and operational leadership across a complex portfolio of surgical and oncological services. This includes a focus on improving waiting list performance and strengthening delivery against key operational targets, ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care. She also takes a driving role in the clinical group’s digital agenda, focusing on stabilising the use of a recently implemented electronic patient record (EPR) whilst championing innovation and adoption of new technologies. One of Rosie’s key leadership priorities is supporting and developing staff to succeed in an increasingly resource-constrained environment. She also has a particular interest in shaping future models of care that harness technological advances while ensuring services remain inclusive and accessible for all patients.
