Simon is an experienced leader in the Australian public health system. Beginning his career as as Occupational Therapist, Simon completed a Master of Health Service Management and transitioned to roles in project management and operational management.
In his current role as Executive Director of Strategy & Office of the Chief Executive in the Northern Sydney Local Health District, Simon is responsible for strategic leadership across a broad range of focus areas, including innovation, research, education, partnerships, integration, leadership development, Health, Education & Research Precinct development, corporate governance and value-based healthcare.
Simon is a Council member of the Australian Healthcare & Hospitals Association (AHHA) and is currently completing a Deeble Scholarship through the AHHA. Simon is a recent graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Simon is passionate about value-based healthcare and the value of partnerships in the public health sector.
