On 23 May, the Association Leaders Circle hosted the virtual meeting “Unlocking the future: AI technology and digital transformation in healthcare” with over 60 participants from 30 countries.

Speakers from HCA Healthcare and NAVER Healthcare Lab demonstrated how AI technologies can navigate the complexities of modern healthcare delivery and addressed the potential risks of generative AI.

Cyberattacks on healthcare organizations

Hospitals hold critical and valuable information such as patient data and financial information, as well as cutting-edge research and innovation. In recent years, they have become the number one target of cyberattacks, perceived as a compliant target due to the life-and-death stakes of a hospital losing operational efficiency. On 9 May 2023, the Association Leaders Circle met to discuss past instances and how to respond to future events.

    The Association Leaders Circle meets in person during the World Hospital Congress every year. It also meets online at least once during the year (usually in May).
