Innovation Hub

i-to-i – from innovation to implementation

Launched in 2023, the IHF Innovation Hub is an exciting addition to the content and activities at the World Hospital Congress.

Innovation Hub 2024 showcase

The i-to-i Innovation Hub provides a showcase of ground-breaking innovations that revolutionize how hospital leaders provide care worldwide. Under the 2024 theme, 'Hospitals of the Future,' innovators were invited to submit unique products, processes, or services that are addressing specific challenges in healthcare settings. The showcase of innovations will be part of the programme at the World Hospital Congress in Rio de Janeiro in September.

More about the Hub 2024

Building the hospitals of the future at WHC2024

Spotlighting unique technological solutions to challenges encountered in healthcare delivery, the IHF's annual World Hospital Congress is set to captivate attendees once again. At the Hub, visitors interact with the innovators and share learnings beyond the technology itself, such as change management, measuring impact, and overcoming roadblocks.

For the second consecutive year, the Innovation Hub will be presented in collaboration with Stanford Medicine. In this video Priya Singh, Chief Strategy Officer at Stanford Medicine encourages everyone to join us at Rio de Janeiro. She describes the Innovation Hub as a unique opportunity to convene health innovators from across the globe and showcase their groundbreaking work!

The two sets of Innovation Ignite Talks drew a packed crowd to the Congress' Spotlight Stage.

Each innovator gave a five-minute talk on their product, explaining its development, value, and potential for healthcare delivery in different settings worldwide. The audience then engaged in a lively Q&A session with the innovators.

Steering Committee

Our panel of healthcare innovation leaders use their experience and knowledge of the healthcare sector to select the novel products and innovations exhibited at the Hub.
